Its me, Azat... I was born in 1981 in Ankara with Gangsta Spirit. I rap ever since I know myself and the thing, that has developed my musician skills is to recept all the things in the world, which has something musical in it through my ears into my brain. However I could tell you, that to listen to the rappers like 2Pac, Run DMC, NWA had also an influence on my style development. The sound, that comes from the ass of a whore, when shes been kicked off, the sizzling of the street lamps, the sound of a pistol, every sound, that I hear, where the street laws are valid flow out through my lips as Rap Songs and make the hair of the audience stand on end, while they take them to the realities of the jungle called the city.
My first professional work is the Çikis Yok E.P. (1997). In 1998 followed it Üç Kurus E.P. I gave more than 100 concerts in Ankara, Izmir, Antalya, Istanbul, Kusadasi, Didim, Mersin, Kayseri, Konya, Eskiehir etc. till today (10 of them were with Mode XL from Ankara). During my concerts the atmosphere and the reaction of the audience were always great. I have gone on to send this positiv current into the studio with a cable, which is consisted of my albums and created my Game Over-Demotapez in 2000. In 2002 Ive published the Devr-i Alem E.P. My success had been heard abroad: At the far continent Australia Ive producted two tracks at the Australian Collona Records.
Up till today Ive made common works with Sihir, Dj Sweet, 2Fun from Germany, L Kaos from London, NG from Argentina. Besides were going on to work together with Yasin from Mode XL at our firm Basemode Records, which is under the administration of MK2 Yapmclk. Ive got videoclips like Basemode Bo Bo Boom and TSPC Bank, which have been shown at the Turkish channels. In addition there are other videos of mine, that can be downloaded from Internet.
I work on my new album nowadays and get ready for the concerts. The vagrant spirit of Ankara will blow just like a wind in the rap world and go on to drag the audience to the wild streets, where I live in. |
