Ballet mecanique is James (Jimmy) Tucker's solo art project.
James has an extensive performance and studio session list of credits including working with: The Drifters, Wolfman Jack, Sara Dash, Al Wilson, The Platters, The Temptations, Bobby Lewis, The Marvellettes, O.C. Nunn, The Shirelles, The Coasters, Pat Upton (the Spiral Staircase), The Dubs, Lost Highway Band, Falling Sideways, Michael Sparks, Sheree Martin, Baby Face Nelson, Eric King, LW Blindsight, Jeff Ebbits Group, Big As a House, Eric Ulreich, Andy Hamburger, Walter Cosby, Chyp Davis, Karl Franklin, Roger Rice and others.
Currently, James has been working as a session producer, arranger, writer and piano/keyboard monkey on a number of upcoming projects including movie soundtracks,(almostinvisible.com)a third Ballet Mecanique CD,(later this year),and the new Lost Highway Band CD (with at least three of his songs)as well as the music, lyrics, and most of the book for an upcoming musical theater/comedic rock opera.(Little Dead Riding Hood)Check here for up-dates or at www.balletmecanique.net
