| In the summer of 2004 three kids were in a band called EB Virus. Kalin Osmundson- Bass and Vocals
Micah Dorfner- Drums
Josh Francis- Guitar
The band was playing some small shows and having fun when they decided to add another guitarist, Kalin's twin brother Kyle. The band practiced and set up a show on August 29th and then some conflicts came up and Josh was not in the band anymore. The other three continued to play and had an idea. The twins' sister had recently broke up with Danny Masters and he was the former lead singer of Commotus Pax and the boys and him were starting to become friends. Then Danny and the boys talked and decided he would enter the band, write some new songs, and change the name. The guys decided to name the band Public Flame and wrote five songs and did a cover for the first show. After that the guys wrote some more songs, changed their name to The BCC's, and dropped some also. Then the guys lined up two relatively large shows both at VFW's, the first in Fairmont on October 30th and the second in Blue Earth on November 20th. Then disaster struck. The twins were both sent away to treatment for drug/alcohol abuse. Danny and Micah talked to a couple of friends to fill in for the next two shows and to record a demo. They added Joe McAdams at bass, from Grand Central Posers, and Tyler Boettcher at guitar, from Ugly. The other guys were on board for the next month and in the process helped complete some more songs and record an album, as long as performing at two shows. The twins returned in late November and The BCC's are at full strength once again. |
