The tracks you are listening to on here are a mixture of our own writing and co-writes with a couple of brilliant producer writing teams we work with. Our live sound is a lot rockier than our recorded and produced tracks, so please try and get to one of our live events. We now have enough material to produce our first album and hopefully also offer a downloadable EP soon. We’ve been hard at it writing new tracks and are hoping to get into the studio soon to record them, and then get them up here for you to listen to, so keep checking back for new updates!
The bedheads are four guys from the Northwest of England who made a choice to pursue their passion together in creating their own music. Who would have thought that in such a short time they would be playing their music to live audiences, with an imminent tour of the USA planned, all borne out of hard work and commitment. In November 2004 and into summer '05, the Bedheads were able to attract lots of new fans and friends and secure clothing endorsements for the US, Europe and Canada with Navigator Clothing Inc of the USA. The bedheads school tours have been fantastic fun and nothing short of superb, being met with huge enthusiasm wherever we’ve appeared. The band has supported several major charity events throughout 2005 and the early part of 2006, and has raised several thousand pounds for such worthy causes as ‘breast cancer’ and ‘children in need’ and want to continue in this support work.
We have made many sacrifices in pursuit of our dreams. We’ve slept on floors; we’ve driven all night to appear for 20minutes on stage, regardless of the financial cost and the price of missing our home, our families and friends, we have no regrets. We have seized this opportunity to do what we love, follow our passions and inspire our fans and friends.
The bedheads are very fortunate; it’s as simple as that! We take the time to answer all our myspace messages from friends and fans, we take the time to talk with them after shows, signing autographs, taking photographs, we’ve known lots of them for over a year and count them as our close friends. We help them with questions and hopefully our lyrics go on to inspire them in their own everyday lives. Our fans and friends are amazing, and we would do anything for them, we look at them for support like a family and consider them just as much a part of our band as anyone.
With the continued friendship and support from our family and friends we can’t go wrong, we are proud to be a part of this iSOUND community and take great pride in networking with other bands and music industry contacts, which is hopefully something that everyone else also continues to benefit from.
