| Cock Ready… after years of languishing away in producer Derek ‘Snee’ McGee’s basement closet, the “Strange Sound Golden Years Recording” has surfaced again (with original artwork) on Dollar Record Records.
It was no easy task for the label to pry away the ‘Cudas “Best Session Ever” from McGee. After seeing the ‘CUDAS ridiculed and slighted over the ‘obscene’ and ‘artistically void’ cover, the producer was unwilling to allow the tapes to fall into yet another record label working for the military-industrial-entertainment complex. Buck, well known for his strong arm tactics, backed the ‘CUDAS against yet another legal wall, when he provided the band with a copy of their signed contract, allegedly wrestled from the band as part of a hostage negotiation.
The result is a great resurfacing of the classic Plastic Soul Sound, Cock Ready aims it’s musical members in the direction of teenage rawk mayhem, and once again Cock Ready is ready for you. |
