Our mission is to use our talents, education and experience to craft the very finest contemporary Catholic Christian music that is liturgically appropriate and congregationally stimulating.
With classical music educations from The Moscow Conservatory, University of Glasgow, Interlochen Arts Academy and The Paris Conservatory, our technical skills allow us the freedom to accurately capture our musical expressions while letting our imaginations soar. As designated artists with Kurzweil/Young Chang and sponsored by major corporations including Mitsubushi Motors and Pepsi, our years of concert appearances throughout the United States, Europe and the far East as individuals and together in our Belamore Show bring a unique understanding of the proper blending of performance and audience enjoyment.
Since the early 1990s, we have enjoyed expressing our God guided music as Directors of Music on the parish level in the Diocese of Orange, California. Our liturgical education including certification studies for Director of Music and Director of Liturgy designations, is invaluable to us as we compose, plan, rehearse and provide music for our parish liturgies. We experience a tremendous spiritual lift as we watch our parishioners sing out and enjoy the music that we craft for them. Our parish is vital and age diverse requiring music that is first and foremost liturgically appropriate and supportive of the word and spirit while contemporary and uplifting. We believe that good liturgical music facilitates the liturgy but never overwhelms or wavers from its role as prayer set to music.
We have to smile remembering a recent "youngster" of 84 years old who approached us after liturgy. Hearing that we are a married couple, he spoke of how he and his wife met and their recent decision to join our parish. They told us how much they love the upbeat music that we write. Thereafter, we particularly enjoyed watching them and their contemporaries tap their feet and raise their voices. Each time we introduce a new composition, it is the faces, voices and toes of our parishioners that tell us that we have written something worthy.
Each composition that we present has been extensively used in our own parish. As full time musicians and composers, we continue to expand our portfolio of original Catholic Christian music. We hope that our compositions support and lift up your parish musical participation in great Liturgy.
