Bella Morte exists at the fusion point of gothic, synthpop, punk, metal and darkwave, bridging genres and styles with their energetic stageshows and exquisitely-crafted studio recordings.
Formed by Andy Deane and Gopal Metro in 1996, Bella Morte has recorded seven releases, played in hundreds of cities in Europe and North America, and continues to redefine their sound and explore new musical directions.
Their relationship with Kevin McNoldy of Crystalphonic Studios has given rise to two full-length releases, which showcase Gopal Metro's extensive engineering skills, and the band's aptitude for songwriting.
Aided by live drums for the first time on their latest release, "Songs for the Dead", Bella Morte continues to delve into new musical territory, leaving behind the electronic-laden sound of their typical recordings for a harder, more rock-oriented vibe. Expect a continued evolution as the band steps into the studio again in early 2005...
