Benign was formed in Spokane, Washington in January of 2001, and we have been tearing up the Northwest metal scene with our own special blend of Harcore/Alternative Metal ever since. Benign has evolved over the years from a garage band to a powerhouse touring act with aggressive, earth-shaking sound, and only time will tell what will happen to this great band.
We released our first 9-song self titled CD in 2002, a 3-song limited release CD in 2003, and most recently a 4-song CD called Uncomfortable Skin.
Currently, Benign is working on a schedule for the release of our 2nd Full-length CD with a new vocalist, Kyle McCarty.
We just wrapped up a great summer tour: the "Cut Your Own Head Off" tour with Cerberus, and a whole bunch of other great metal bands, and we're planning our fall tour now. Let us know if you want us to visit your town!
