| From the Park Heights section of Baltimore; comes Big Ria, the first lady of Pimphouse Music. Big Ria was very instrumental in Pimphouse Music's early success. Her club song "Hey U Knuckleheads" is a Baltimore classic and had fans of all ages singing along.
Maria Hill aka Big Ria met Pimphouse Music / High Rolla Records CEO Diamond K through producer DJ Mickey. The track maker, DJ Mickey brought a Big Ria demo to Diamond K's record store. The young CEO was blown away by Ria's energy, charisma and delivery and he signed her to the label on the spot. Before long they were all in Tic Toc Studios working on Ria's debut single, "Am I A Bomb" and the follow up jam "Hey U Knuckleheads". Soon the streets were asking Who is Big Ria because the label began kicking things in gear, flooding the city with her fliers and posters. Guys, girls and kids of all ages, came out to her shows and her music sold out throughout Baltimore. She was showcased at all the city's major events including For Sisters Only and the AFRAM performing with local and national artists. After a brief hiatus, Ria returned to the studio on Big Tony's album "Master Of Ceremonies". Whenever her records are played, the party gets jumping so what is next for this MC? "The story is not over!" Big Ria promises, "I'm just getting warmed up."
