Bigg Slimm was born in Brooklyn, Ny. At a young age his family moved to California. Bigg Slimm has lived in various areas of the country, but to date resided in Arlington, TX.
Slimm was introduced to rap at a young age. But sports had his attention until he wrote his first rhyme at the age of 13. Getting caught writing it in class he had to recite it to the class. Needless to say after the standing ovation Slimm received from his classmates it was a wrap. Bigg Slimm A.K.A Lionheart was born. When asked what sealed his fate in the music business Bigg Slimm stated ".Just listening to all the greats. Rakim, Chuck D, Pac and Nas to name a few".
Bigg Slimm has traveled to every state in the USA and a few countries. That..s where he gets his Coast less style. Slimm makes street anthems. "I do this for the have nots, the forgotten and the unwanted. I do this for those not driving Bentley..s and sipping Cris. ..I want to be remembered as one of the greatest MC..s and writers of all time"... Which is not a title far out of reach. When listening to his music you will feel him.
Bigg Slimm succumbed to the streets for a while, still perfecting his craft, but focusing more on Hustling. Something else he..s good at. But music eventually beat out the streets. Slimm..s street influences are the real hustlers." Nigga..s that got it by any means like Fat Cat, Alpo, Rich Porter and Freeway Rick Ross". Slimm's inspirations include his mother, aunt's and the forefathers of hip-hop who suffered through all the bullshit for us to be where we are today.
When asked how he would affect the Rap Game Slimm says "I am the voice of the lost and scarred. I will bring uncut truth, good or bad". And that is proven on his tracks. The voice is unmistakable, the flow is unquestionable and his story is no made up story. Bigg Slimm story is your story.
Having two albums out both on independent labels, performing in hundreds of shows and many appearances Bigg Slimm A.K.A Lion heart is well on his way to a very promising career. The Streets are calling for their real King!!!
