I was a young man back in the days of the psychedelic 70's. My influences came from bands I went to see in concert, like Pink Floyd, Alice Cooper, Led Zeppelin, Emerson Lake and Palmer and so on. My experiences as a player have been (starting out) as a sax player in a swing band, later on as a harmonica player in blues bands to bass player in numerous garage bands and later as a guitarist as my skills grew.
A lot people my age now (approaching the geezer generation years) always talk about their 'good old days' and how they wish they could go back. For me, 'now' will always be the 'good old days'. As an artist, it's not about what I used to do, but what I'm doing now. Music is what defines me, and as long as I have breath I will continue to create and share with the world. I see my life as a movie that deserves a soundtrack. As life goes on, so much more the music! |
