Bourbon soaked dirty rock ‘n’ roll, this is…………BlackMustang.
Way back, in early 2005, four musical prodigies came together to form what is now known as ‘Black Mustang’.
Black Mustang, in no particular order are:

Adam Thomas- Drums Dan Charlton- Bass/Backing Vocals
Born from the ashes of various Brisbane bands, who regularly played alongside top Australian interstate and local acts, Black Mustang are a new force on the Australian music scene. With their energetic live shows and their ability to woo the crowd, the band looks set to become one of Brisbane’s most exciting rock and roll acts to date.
Black Mustang has a raw 60s garage/ 70s rock sound and has been compared to the likes of ‘The Radiators’ and ‘Radio Birdman’ with a twist of overseas acts such as ‘MC-5’ and ‘The Stooges’.
In little under a year, Black Mustang has established a considerable fan base. As their reputation snowballs and word spreads, the band can only look forward to a bigger and brighter future.
In the past six months the band has burst on to the local scene and have played in Brisbane best venues, alongside bands such as The Camels (syd), Shifter, The Basics (melb), Transport, DaisyCutters, Elephant Mojo, Vegas Kings, Pacesetter and Aamperllas- all on the back of a 4 track demo CD.
U.S. management have also recently requested songs off the demo CD to feature on a sample CD, representing Australias best new rock music, to be distributed at the worlds biggest music industry invent, the SxSW festival, held in Austin, Texas.
With strong interest developing in Melbourne and Sydney, the band will also be heading to the southern states to roadtest some of the new tunes currently in preproduction for their debut Ep.
