Who (or what) is Black Pig?
Black Pig is a true musical experiment. When Brooklyn natives Wayne Daren Schneiderman & Joseph Milazzo began this music project, they steered away from the norm and challenged themselves as artists. They followed only one rule - each song was to be written and recorded in one session, no exceptions. The end product, an eclectic mix of songs touching on everything from rockabilly to lounge to metal, was completed under the title, "It Is What It Is."
In an unforeseen series of events, indie-label BaldFreak Music stumbled upon Black Pig's unique sound and promptly signed them. What was never meant to be heard by more than a few friends has now been unleashed onto the masses. With the addition of guitarists Anthony Navarro & Barry Dobrin, and an unpredictable live show, Black Pig is now ready to take on the world ... but is the world ready for Black Pig?
