Member of the EMC Boyz: Born in Oakland and residing in San Lorenzo, Blaze 1 started out like a lot of other young rappers growing up rappin’ for fun. Blaze always spitin' his lyrics for folks in the neighborhood and friends at school. After a while, he joined EMC Boyz and has been rapping since. Blaze 1 had a number of Bay Area artists influencing him from Mac Dre, E-40, Andre Nickatina, 3X Crazy, Brotha Lynch, & Mob Figgaz. Over the years Blaze has been able to convey his style of flow with his rugged, dynamic delivery, combined with his lyrics which relate to living life and learning from it. Growing older, wiser, and going through new experiences have built Blaze 1’s character as a person, a man, & a genuine MC. |
