What have I been up to?
I find myself sleepless at 6am on some weekday, of which I know not its name. I've been stuck visiting family in Tampa for a bit. Somehow I ended up here, after chatting with dear Xzar about isound a tad as I have nothing else to do.
Isound always feels weird now, as I have changed so much since I was the little brat ranting on about things she only knew about half of.
So what have I been up to? I've moved from Tampa to Gainesville, where I attend, UF. The professors are amazing so please excuse the fact that they pride themeselves on sports over all things. Yes, it makes for a hellish town.
I discovered Crocidile Club, and have made many new contacts through them. (Possibly meeting James from Deadfly next week?)
Journeyed through abandoned theatres...
Haunted graveyards with Gainesvilles version of The Lost Boys...
Annnd other such activities. Torrid relationships since my last stable one amid admiring crushes on the people I once looked up to over the internet before meeting them. Assymilation to the fashions of my friends, and then finding more of my own spirit in things. I've managed to keep a 3.9 GPA as a Sophomore, closing in on Junior in college and consider some of my previous professors to be some of my closest friends. I'm a lot less bitchy and particular about music and other people's tastes by the way......
Just disreguard my general posts from 2 years ago, if you will.

Sounds like you are having a good time in Gainsville...I'm digging the new photos here along with the ones in your photo section.Are there any people from this site who you missed or not,I guess?lol.
-Some people go through transitions and realize things about themselves and their environment(hopefully the realizations aren't damaging/negative).I have also changed a little myself.I still have a varied mix of friends and music tastes and activities that I do,but I have,at the same time,taken people out of my lives who can't think for themselves on any level and seem to only live to suck the life out of me.I just don't need that;it's time to focus on my priorities.Because of this,I have become more relaxed and truely content with myself.Oh I don't know if you remember when I mentioned that my boyfriend wears more makeup then me on occassion,but I'm still with him,it's been a little over 2 1/2 years.I'll stop now.Keep on the photo-taking... |
