blah
"Whatever you believe is true. The real trick is in believing, because what is the point in believing something which is not true until believed? Everything seems futile. Pain is real, and happiness is imaginary.Nothingness is death, and we fake it with little nothings like pills or music. Our little medicine that helps the imaginary feel more like reality. You're not messed up. Just a bit confused. When there are no answers, just questions that lead to more questions, of course the only state we can know is confusion. The only semblance of an answer is to learn your confusion and contradictions and flaws, and accept them as part of yourself. Not even a negative thing. It makes sense that you want to feel nothing -- because it is closer to an answer than anything else.I don't write songs with answers, and I don't know anything with any degree of certainty - but given our interconnectedness as members of the same species or virus or breed, or whatever we are, I can tell you that someone cares. I am you, to some degree, and that song is never enough, that is why I keep writing them. There is something warm about being just a footstep closer to infinite. We're all drops in the ocean. The ocean is beautiful. I wish you to see that."
