AS DOES THE SUN
So some time the day does come
When You know that it just aint right And that is when the pain will come
and the tears will blind Your sight
Deep inside Your garden cries
Silenced by the promise broken
A screaming wound upon Your Heart
Where wicked lies are spoken
Of the Love You tried so hard to grow
That is buried now by winter snow
Or the killing frost that never cares
if the falling leaves leave Your trees bare
But Hope, though frozen
when sunlight shares
Will melt the cast of frigid fare
Seek me then, in snowblind glare
reach for me as blossoms dare
to penetrate the softened earth
From dormant death they seek Re-Birth
Call my name from frozen wastes and
run to me as rivers hasten
Faith, My Love, the warm wind brings
So flow to me on Dreams of Spring
Ill tell You of when Two Lovers cared
An ancient tale with You I shared
And from my hearts regreteful lair
Ill tell You of One Lovers error…

Of Your Beauty over everything
And of all desires I pick just one :
To touch Your Face as does the Sun…

u have such an amasing and heart wrenching way with words... tear jerking even. the poem is so beutiful, the rhythm easy to follow in a lilting, gentle manner... I love it. |
