Sunday, September 11th, 2005 HIV/AIDS I have hiv it does not have me! I still live life like any other person who walks the earth, I breathe the same air, I walk the same grounds, I eat the same kind of food, drink the same drinks, I Love like there is no tomarrow and for real tomarrow could end for anyone not just for the people with HIV or AIDS.this disease is no longer a Death sentance, I know people who have been hiv positive for over 20 years, some work and some are on SSI. you could live right next door to an hiv infected person and never even know it, look at my picture do I look ill? your best friend could have it and you would not know unles they tell you, chances are they will not for fear of loseing a friend. ignorance spreads hiv more then anything. want to learn more go to www.thebody.com I believe all people should be tested, even if you think you could not have been exposed I though that and I was infected 15 years ago by a cheating man, never did drugs, never slept around was always a faithfull partner. you can not get this from anyone unless you have unprotected sex with them, or share a needle with them. you can kis and hiv infected person without fear, you can hold their hand, you can love them even make love with them as long as you protect yourself. I know couples who are poz/neg, as for me I prefer to be with a poz man so I never have to deal with the fear factor again, I used to date neg men who claimed they could handle it, well too many heart aches later I decided I could not do that to myself no more. do you think you were exposed? GET TESTED! do you know all the people you boyfriend was with in the past? I bet you don't----GET TESTED! have you ever had unprotected sex? GET TESTED! I had this for 11 years before I knew I had it, it almost took my life and took me away from my children. trust you do not want to get as sick as I was, you do not want to be on your death bed and struggle to keep alive, it was a hell of a fight but here I am 4 years after diagnosis and doing great. all I ask is for you to educate yourself on the subject, don't be mean to people with it most of us did nothing to get this, and no one asked to get it. and please for your own piece of mind go get tested.don't be a part of the problem be a part of the solution.

babygirl17844's comment posted September 12th @ 8:47 PM: thank you for the kind words, so many times people turn others away because of an illness not always hiv but that is because they are not educated and choose to stay ignorant. ignorance kills more people then anything in this world.with todays tecnology there is not 1 single reason for the ignorance now granted not everyone has a computer but the local library will let you use 1 and there you can get education on so many things, there simpley is no excuse. |

Analfuck-fest's comment posted February 10th @ 10:27 PM: There is this theory now that if you can catch the AlDS virus...
by having sex with someone who's infected, then you can catch anything.
Alzheimer's, muscular dystrophy, hemophilia, leukemia, diabetes, dyslexia. |
