Concert
I don't know why i waited a week to finally write about the concert. on the 24th of September i went to the My Chemical Romance/Alkaline Trio/Reggie and the Full Effect concert. It was amazing. I watched Reggie and the Full Effect from the back and they were great. I went by the side of the stage and waited for a glimpse of MCR and got my chance to see Mikey, Gerard, and Frank. When Alkaline Trio got on, i made my way to the center of pit. i fimally got right up front and was really into the music. I was sweating so much and just having a blast. After they finished their set there was a fifteen minute break b4 MCR came on. I started feeling woozy and i blacked out. I mean i was still coherant but everything was dark and i was completely out of it. The people around me saw that i had limped to one side and picked me up. I surfed up to the front and a guard carried me over to the side. I was out of it. They gave me a water bottle filled with ice and H2O and carried me to the outside part of the pavillion. I stayed there until i finished all the water and then, being the music fanatic that i am, i went right back to the pit. I made it in time for the band to come on and i was jumping and singing my heart out with everyone else. When MCR started "Ghost of You," i was feeling woozy again and everything started turning black again. i went and got more water and jumped right back into the pit. It was the best time of my life. When i left that night, i left with bruise mark on my chest from where i was punched, a bruise mark on my back where i was elbowed on my ribs, a swollen toe from people jumping on it, a bruise on my shin from where i was kicked, and a soaking wet t-shirt from sweat and water combined. Just a tip for those going to concerts...Drink lots and lots of water. I should have known better because i go to lots of concerts, i'm no rookie when it comes to concerts, but next time, i might not get lucky enough to go back into the pit.
