Mother's Day
Mom is the best thing on Earth when you're down. What if the doctor says she won't be long around? When the news is broken you want to cry. You remember the nesting day she made you fly. Your heart gets empty and frozen, ice cold. I don't want any angels to take mama's soul. The Lord is the spoken word all day long. And his gift is your mother that raises you strong. She whispers, "Don't cry cause I have to leave" Still speechless lips quiver a traumatic bereave. What if
the doctor says she won't be long around? The noisy world becomes a silent
town. There is a tear-splashed puddle on
the sinking floor, that mirror of mama at real life's door. She stays a star shining through a bad, hard felt night.
But when the puddle dries she's out of sight. Mama has found a brand-new place
inside my heart. The promise of death can't keep us apart. We'll always be together in time while we pray. I'll always be her loving son on Mother's Day

That was deep bro. I don't see my mother as much as I should or as much as I would like to, I don't know what I would do if my mother passed to the other side.
You have made me think that maybe I should chill more and stop pursuing this dream and be more content with who I am and not who I want to be. I want my mother to be proud of me before she goes, I have caused her so much pain with my wayward ways and brushes with the law.
I needed to read that to realise that there is more to life than the pursuit of ones dreams. Thanx Bro! |

my condolences on the passing of your mother,my father passed a few years ago,and although i have had many friends die ,the emotion i felt was indescribable! but an area of my heart opened that i never knew existed and i carry his memory there clearer than any photograph! i hope your memories of her will always burn bright! |
