Monday, December 5th, 2005 To have To know To want The walls closed around
Incarcerated by the darkness
I was deafened to the sounds
Entombed in silence
The sights of night and day no longer to be seen
The sounds of life and death left unheard by me
Wrapped in numbness
The Touch of her skin lost on me
Torn from emotion
The love for her lost to me

Truth pains more than lies
Pains that tear at the corridors of my mind
Within those harrowed halls, truth cries for blood
And gets it in an antediluvian flood

This is the story of those halls
And of the beasts and beauties which reside within
My body cries as from my soul it falls
On the edge I stand, periphery, the rim
Take my hand if you dare trust the damned
Follow over the edge
Trust not you body or those of those around you
Dig deeper with fingers and nails bloodied
And find that place in which resides your soul…
