Thursday, December 15th, 2005 Sounds Like....? I need your help, my friends. In trying to prepare press kits and setting up Huck on various websites, I have been unable to answer one very basic question. I'm constantly asked "Your band sounds like...?" and or often phrased "Similiar to...?" and I never know how to answer. You've all been exposed to this material for months now. How would you answer this question?

djinfla's comment posted December 23rd @ 2:55 AM: "Intelligent, contemporary rock and roll. Tinged with influences as varied as Bruce Hornsby, to Elton John, and many points in between. The Hucks have a distinct personality of their own with melodious arragements, well crafted chord progressions and infectious rhythyms, the Hucks will surprise and entertain you throughout your listening experience."
Or something like that. |

someone_like_u's comment posted March 4th @ 12:32 PM: And you actually remind me Frank Black too... just the way you come across as a person. Again, a compliment, in my view. Cool man. Rock on dude. I respect ya. I saw the Pixies live before (Frank's former band) - wow man! Talk about knowing how to perform. lol! I bet your band would be pretty damn neat live too. Keep on keeping on, dude. :o) |
