life at exotic high pt 1
Chapter 1
Today is September 8, the first day of school at exotic High. Many children were scattered around the parking lot waiting for the bell to ring. Wind blew softly through the baby blue sky, and the sun warmed the earth. There I stood a tall medium sized small girl with long hair. In my family, I was the only child. You may look at me and think that I'm happy, but deep inside I wasn't. There has been thing in my life that had gone wrong but now I'm a new person and revenge is my goal. Right now I am waiting on my friends. Here they came one by one. The first person was my dearest best friend named Sade. She has always been my friend since eight grade. When you look at us, you could tell that we have history. Her and me have been through thick and thin but we always manage to stay together. Sade is a thick tall light skinned girl with absolutely long hair. She's the kind of girl who has always helped me solve mysteries.
Sade ran up to me and gave me a big hug. Her first words were " welcome back to our second year in highschool. After that, two young boys appeared. There he was one of the best looking guys in school named Orlin. He was a tall and light skinned guy with dreads. Riding in the car with him was his unknown friend. He was brown skinned with wavy hair. Taking one look at them would make you smile. Both of them were walking towards us while waving their hands. Orlin was sixteen years old and hand a big dreams in becoming a famous football star. It was also said, that his unknown friend wanted to major in engineering but seem as if he couldn’t do any thing but play his game boy advance.
Every thing was going well until this boy named J-L showed up. JL was his nickname or we would say the abbreviation for J-Known Lorteez. The word around was that he was a gangbanger who disappeared from school last year. Now all of a sudden he was back. He was a caramel mischief looking boy with peasy hair and beat up sneakers with highlights of red. He was a kind of person who liked to pick fights for fun and looked like he wouldn't will never get a good career. I'm not sure why JL hated everybody but he got along with my cousin Idayat.
The bell finally rung and we all went into the school. The principal named Mr. Social sorted us all into our classes. Lucky me, I was put l in the same classroom as all of my friends. Mr. Social was a tall bolded headed man who liked to look nice. Many children says that he's mean but you just needed to get to know him.
As we sat down, the teacher introduced her self. "Good morning class, my name is Ms. Black and today we will be playing games based on introducing our selves." Every one got up one at a time and mentioned their names, which led to our first game. Ms.. Black appointed Orlin’s unknown friend and said, "Try to repeat everyone's name for me." He then got up and said " these are the students names I remember, Najeebah, Sade, Yolonda, Cierra, Alesha, Trina, Tommy, Mickeal, Khadijah, Jasmine, Jerrel, Ceaser, Mosuuf and J-Kwon. Everything was going well until, JL yelled out “ Ay boy, u still play with those stupid game boys. Then the boy replied by saying “ ooooh, I know you ain’t hiking, son its been two years and you haven’t got a hair cut yet, at least I have a life. JL then yelled out, “ son, there no life in being a game freak, now I see why you want to be an engineer, all you goin do is make game boys and play stations.” The teacher then got up from her desk and yelled" that’s enough you two. After that, the rest of the day went well.
Finally, the last bell rung for leaving. At the car stood my cousins Jerissa and Orlando. We got in the car and were ready to leave. Then we heard a yell. "Najeebah, can you give me a ride home." I was standing here looking at the Puerto Rican boy as is he was crazy but I responded by saying yes and we drove off.
Jerissa, he said that he lives on 115 Extra Street in the white and dark red town houses. Okay baby, oh before I forget, how was your first day of school? What did you do? Wee Wee everything went well, I didn't do so much. On the intercom today they said that, The football, and basketball seasoning is going to start within to two weeks. So that's what me and Ray Ray is waiting for. Then Jerissa started to aurge quietly about who was going to cook on Monday for cousin Idayat's birthday. Jerrisa was one of my most kindness cousins. She was kick named Wee Wee because, she always had to use the bathroom. I have been through thick and thin through my life and Wee Wee has always been there for me. Just recently something happened and Jerrisa allowed me to live with her and her boyfriend DJ. This is why she's my favorite cousin. My other cousin was nick named Ray Ray but his real name is Al-Ray. The called him that because his original name was hard to pronounce. Ray Ray is one of my other favorite cousins but he was sort of like a rolemodel to me. Ray Ray is becoming a famous basketball player and he inspired me a lot.
While they argued, I spoked to my new Puerto Rican friend. "So what is your name? " We pulled up in front of his house and he said my name is Ceaser. To me, he seemed real quiet and sweet. From there on, I knew we would be good friends.
