life at exotic high pt 2
Chapter 2

Knock, Knock………………..
Idayat open the door!
Knock, Knock……………..
Come on mann!

Dag, I’m commin. God please help this child.
Najeebah, why are you knocking on my door like that? You know what, sometimes I just think that you're very slow. Maybe I need to talk to your Cousin Jerrisa and ask her to send you to an all girls’ school cause you need to learn some manners.

For peeps sake Idayat, you’re my cousin! You’re like only two years older than I am. If you think Jerrisa is going to listen to you, you’re sick, besiiiiiiiiides, you take too long to open the door anyway. I beginning to think that you getting lazier, maybe Orlando shoulda never convince you to get your own apartment.

I don’t know why I just standed here and let you say all this stuff to me. When are you going to move out of the Jerrisa’s apartment and get something of your own?

Idayat, I’m only fifteen years old. I don’t want to grow up as fast as you did, you’re still seventeen and driving around with a permit.

“Now look, ain’t nothing wrong with driving with a permit.” Oh, I got a date tonight and I need to get ready to leave.

Tell me you’re not still going out with that low riding blood wanna be hoodlum. He’s still living with his mother and working at payless. Oh, and let me not get on his car. Do think he actually can take care of you.

So Najeebah, why are you here?

Oh, so now you switching stories! I'm here to tell you that Al- ray is going to be cooking for your up coming birthday. We chose him because he likes to cook. Ray Ray is doing his last year at Exotic High and he's planing on getting his scholarship in playing basketball and cooking. But he's not the only one, I'm following his same footsteps therefore he's is my rolemodel.

Ring, Ring
Ring, Ring

Idayat what's that, the phone or the door bell?

Ms. Osho's resident, may I ask whose calling?
Un huh…….
Yeah…….

You need me to do Whaaaaat!
Right now,
All right, I'm on it!
So where are you now,
I'm on my way, Bye!
Sorry Najeebah I gotta go, it's very important. When my date come, tell him I had to leave and to call me to reschedule it. See you later.

Once Idayat left, I called Sade.
Sade, I don't know what's going on but my cousin just received a phone call and it was very suspicious. She left out a few minutes ago and her date is on his way.

Why don't you talk to him about it?

I can't seem to get over my differences with hi., Idayat told me to tell him to reschedule the date but I have no intentions on doing that.

That's messed up. So why do you think that you cousin is up to something?

Sade you know how she was before she was transferred to Extreme Highschool.

I kinda forgot, could you remind me?

Remember she used to hang out with JL and his gang. She repped blood just as much as he did. I remember the time when she started spray painting graffiti over the school walls and almost got expelled. Idayat was always up to something. Remember the time that she started dyeing her hair every week. Thank god that she got transferred to another school but she still stays in contact with JL.

So did you tell Wee Wee about this?

No!

Why?

All of my cousins are still in highschool and they all have problems of their own to deal with and don't want to put another burden on Wee Wee. Besides her taking care of me after my father deserted me is enough.

Wow, that’s so sweet, if only she could here you say that.

Trust me, one day she will.

Najeebah, you never told me that your father deserted you.

Oops, I wasn't supposed to say that! It’s a long story, sort of like a mystery.

Everything is a mystery to you.

No it's not!

Okay here's a few examples, Your cousins phone call and the desertion of you father. There's more but I forgot.

All right you win, do you want to here the true story about my father?

Yes but I have to get off of the phone within twenty minutes.

Okay this is what happened. One night Jerrisa had came to spend the night at my house. She saw lots of marks on my face and asked what had happened. I told her that my father came home earlier in the day and my chores weren't complete so he beat me harshly, then he left. Hours later he returned with his girlfriend and said that I didn't appreciate having a father around. He literally went into his room and packed his bags then left. It broke my heart to see him leaving me alone with no money and support. Therefore Jerrisa allowed me to stay with her. If I ever see him again I'll probably get back at him with revenge.

Thank you for telling me, that story was sad.

You are welcomed, it wasn't all that sad though. Look I gotta go and I'll see you at school tomorrow.

Okay, I'll see you then.
