Long time away
Well, I've been out of the country for the past month and a half. I got to go back home to PANAMA!Yay. Its been four years since i've been home and it was great seeing all my family again. Overall, the trip was great. I came back real tanned, i wore a bikini all the time when we stayed at this beach resort (6 days). Being my clumsy and accident proned self, i caused to cars to be wrecked. Here's the story... My uncle, aunt and cousin came along with my mom, sister, and me to visit my grandmother. Afterwards, my aunt and cousin got in her car, and my mom, sis, and me got in my uncle's car. I didn't know he was driving us around sight seeing. I had had about four coca colas already and really had to go to the restroom. When he told us he was going to take us by some ruins, i yelled no, that i really, really, really had to go. At this point, i didn't know that my aunt had been trailing us ( i thought she went straight home with the kid). So we pull into my uncle's driveway which is an uphill slant and i don't see my aunt's car ( i figure she went somewhere else). I'm sitting in the backseat on the left side. I throw open the door and stick my leg out. I'm about to jump out when i see my aunt's car coming in really fast. I see it just in time to pull my leg in, but not fast enough to close the door. She hit the door and keeps going taking the door with her. Then, she's stupid enough to stop and then back up. Now she can't open the passenger door and my uncle has an unhinged door. I can accept that this is partly my fault in that i should have looked before i opened the door, but most of the damage is her fault for driving on then backing up and going really fast (i know that your supposed to go fast to go uphill but she just swung that car in not even seeing if someone might be in the way). I have to pay her $469 dollars to replace something since her car is brand new. It doesn't help that since then, she's been giving me these evil looks and telling my uncle that it is all my fault when she thinks no one is around. At least my uncle agreed that she was also at fault. Oh well, my uncle's insurance covers his door and no one was hurt except my pride. Well, i'll have to get a job if i'm planning on going anywhere this summer since i'm out of cash. At least the accident happened two days before i got back to the states so i din't have to bear her grudge for to long. The vacation was nice while it lasted but now i'm so far behind in all my work. I don't know what i'm going to do. Oh well, worring is bad for the heart :) Later days
