in my last few seconds of death
this is my newest poem, and whoever reads it let me know what you think of it, und ich hoffe, daß Sie genieߥn, es zu lesen soviel wie, ich genossen habe, es zu schreiben.
i loved you
you were all that i wanted then
i watched you
turn into someone else
then you killed my body
and torured my soul
though you have grown old
you still won't let me go
though my body's dead and cold
you refuse to give me life
and though my time has long been over
i die a little more each night
i'll never ascend unto pugatory's bay
lost between dimensions in this world
it isn't safe
stalked by the demons who play on my paranoid
they've stolen my mind
they've stolen my skin
they've stolen my body
but never my sin
is this how i am to pay for it...
in my last few seconds of death?
just a few seconds longer...
but still an eternity left.
(note: "i loved you, you were all that i wanted then i watched you turn into someone else" was borrowed from "numb" by "ill nino" off of their their 2003-2004 album "confession")
