am i good enough yet?
blood dripping down her chin she whispers am i good enough yet? all the lies cutting like knives, in way to deep she wouldnt weep, filling her up with empty hate, wishing to pass through the bounded gate. how could something so close be so far out of reach? her head hung low, she takes the blow. how much more, how much more? blood dripping down her chin she whispers am i good enough yet? what else? is that all you've got? you're the one who walks away, always expecting me to stay. dont you see this is me, this time i wont turn around, kneel down, face in the dirt, saying it doesnt hurt.
