Sinking
Sinking in the pit of my irrational mind
Feeling like there’s not direction to find
Are you here to stay or is it time to go?
Please just drop a note and let me know
The world is spinning, throwing me down
Spiralling all the way to the ground
My heart is searching for that peace I found.
Can’t seem to place it, can’t perceive that clarity.
I open my mouth, but I speak without a sound.
It’s only you in this sea of thoughts
But it all begins to dim
It’s becoming hard to swim
Throw me a life jacket, I really don’t want to drown…….
