Hurricane Katrina
Monday morning Hurricane Katrina passed over the southeast part of Louisiana, Mississippi and parts of Alabama. Unfortunately, I live right outside of New Orleans. New Orleans is below sea level as well. We have levees protecting water from Lake Pontchartrain (half the size of the state of Delaware) and the Mississippi River. The reality is, because of the pressure put on by Hurricane Katrina, parts of these levees breached. Water from the Mississippi River flowed into New Orleans and from Lake Pontchartrain. 80% of the city of New Orleans is under water. My hometown is under water. It's getting worse by the minute because as of now (September 1, 2005), engineers can't figure out a way to patch up the levees and prevent more water from getting in. This is a huge catastrophe. Turn on the Weather Channel or CNN to see how horrific this is. People are trapped. They have no food and no water. Possibly over 1,000 people are dead. I'm moving to Houston for a while until my school reopens sometime in December. Fortunately, my house is not flooded. Unfortunately, power is down for a long time and we have quite a bit of property damage from trees. I probably wont be on iSOUND for a while, it that means anything.

Courtney Love
Before Courtney Love released the NIRVANA song (she had the rights to it after Kurt died)"You Know You're Right", she played a live acoustic version of it called "You've Got No Right" for an MTV Unplugged special with her band Hole. She sang "Hey" instead of "Pain." Here's how she introduced the song: "This is a song that Kurt wrote. We worked on it a little bit, we can't do it that well but it's Valentine's Day, and maybe he can hear it, and he'll go, 'You know, you really fucked up my song, Courtney. Don't even try it.' But if it works, it's dedicated to my mother-in-law."
Courtney Love needs to die.

I'll tell you what dream used to scare me when I was a little kid. Used to actually totally give me nightmares. Remember those Kool-aid commercials? Where that big talking bowl of punch, he would come crashing through your wall in your living room. You wouldn't even know, he would just *boom* "Ohhh yea! Ohhh yea! Ohhh yea". Right, and the little kids were all excited, "YES! YES!". And then they would drink out of him after debris fell in his open dumb head. He would pour himself "Ohhh yea! Ohhh yea!". Him and his crazy tights. I dont like that. I dont like when juice wears tights. Thats a horrible combination, a bowl of juice wearing tights. Fuck drinking out of him, if that was me I'd be like no no no you fix that wall before my dad gets home from work. He's gonna beat me with a belt. He's not gonna believe a talking bowl of fruit punch came in here. You stupid idiot. Yeah, coming through the wall is real FUCKING COOL, using the front door is cool. Don't touch me you drink. Don't touch me giant beverage. You are sweating or condensating, I will kick you in the tights, you will go down you are very top heavy. You glass bitch, you glass bastard. Oh yeah, Oh NO.

Pathetic iSOUND users

^^That is an extremely pathetic iSOUND user. She hasn't had any posts on any forums, any reviews, any bios, nothing. She has absolutely nothing on this site. She has a profile that gives info on her. But no one really knows anything about her besides that profile. Still, she has 62 friends. 62! I have 30 and I'm an active iSOUND user(I would have a lot more but I delete people who send me friends requests and I've never talked to them before, like this girl for example). She has like 250 points and she's at Moderate Decibels when SHE HASN'T SAID ANYTHING ABOUT MUSIC! This is a music site and she has a higher rank then people who actually talk about (or review) music and she has nothing to say about music! Does this piss anyone else off?

Let me clarify something
You know that blog where entitled 'Music in it's entirety'? Yeah well that's all bullshit. I make fun of bands I don't like and the people that don't like those bands all the time. I'm a point whore, what can I say? I saw the blog thing on iSOUND's homepage and decided to write one I think would get accepted. Since iSOUND gives you 50 points for every blog you write that they put on their homepage I wanted to gain 50 points. I'm a hypocrite, what can I say? Sue me.
And this was for all the little pricks who left me comments saying I was a "dick fucker" and an "asshole".

^^The exact words of hilary_fan, a member on isound. It's people like this who have no sense of talent. Little girl, just because you don't like the music Jimi Hendrix plays doesn't mean he's not the best damn guitar player to ever live (and 100,000,000x better then Haylie Duff). Everyone keeps proving the girl wrong on the Slipknot forum about the subject but she's too stubborn to realize that we're right and she's wrong. Someone posted a list of music sites that had the best 100 guitar players and Jimi Hendrix was #1 on all of them besides one. Haylie Duff wasn't on any of those lists and you know what the stupid bitch's reply was? "She's too good to be on any of those lists!". Wow. Doesn't anyone else think this is a total mockery or what? This girl needs to be shot...Go on the Slipknot forum with the thread "IN YOUR FACE SLIPKNOT FANS!!!!!!" to see for yourself.

Music in it's entirety
It doesn't matter if you listen to rap, rock, country, classical, jazz, techno, world, reggae, hip-hop, punk, etc. Just as long as you're loving what you're listening to than you have a good appreciation for music. If you're someone like me who falls back on music for every single thing he does (use it as a guide, as a medicine to wounds medicine cannot fix, or just as pleasure of rocking out) than your appreciation is taken up a notch. A lot of people get made fun of because they listen to a certain band or because they claim a band as their favorite after you've heard just one song. Screw them. Enjoy what you're listening to and live life. It doesn't have to be a mainstream band, it can be an underground band. Or it can be a shitty band no one's ever heard of because they suck, just as long as YOU love what you're listening to. Music's all about being free, so enjoy it.
