Being Unsuccesful, it really exists?
I think it exists just if you give up on everything.
People who are or was succesful have the same opinion and I've read a couple of books that have the same cotent.
My inspiration always were the Band's Bios and I've learned a lot reading them.
So set your specific goals, and write them down.
Never quit, never stop, never give up.
And remember, it's not a math formula, you should feel it too and have a little bit of intuition, that's my humble opinion.
And be sincere with your self to know what you really want to be (the most important step for me)
