Music Today
We are all witnessing the revolution of the music industry. No longer will the sounds we hear come from the major record labels that have controlled the art we call music. The internet is paving the way for artists to control their destiny. Never before has it been possible to reach so many people without signing your life away to a company with the money and resources to promote your music. Sites like iSOUND.com and others have changed all of that. Most A&R and industry people will tell you the key to success in the music business is exposure. These sites enable a band or artist to reach the world that they would not have been able to otherwise. It is important for artists to take advantage of such opportunities now for who knows what will be next. I for one am delighted with the current state of the industry. I have found more amazing new music on these sites that some label executive should have signed.
