loved and lost
They say that it is better to have loved and lost
than to have never loved at all.
If that is true, then why does losing you hurt so bad?
Why is it better to have your heart shattered like fine glass,
tears falling like rain from your eyes?
Your soul feels like it's tearing apart
and the angels that were once there have fled
and left the demons to laugh in your face.
You're scared and reluctant to ever fall in love again
fearing that the same emptiness, pain, and sorrow will harden your heart.
How could it be better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all?
Why does it pain me so if my love was not even strong enough to keep you?
Why does my heart ache when we are not together?
You are like the wind. It is not my fate to hold you.
It is instead for me to prove that it is better to never have loved at all
rather than loved and lost.

Music
It beats so fast
Yet to others
Seems so long

Is not understandable
Although to some
Is legible
Music
Is a great distance
But to various
Appears near
Music
Is all life
Only to several
Is versioned as minor
Music
Some like it calm
However others
Scream it so unsteadily
Music
Has so many types
Encouraging, bringing
Discrimination to other
Music
Shuns everyone
But all seek it
To seek peace
Music
Is influential
Leading others
To horrible ends
Music
Is all love
Still groups use it
To spread out hatred
Music…..is all we need
