Rick Everett
Hi all,
I don't usually put up blogs etc. This time is important. Rick Everett, an ISOUND Legend, passed away on the 13th of this month, after a long illness. I had the pleasure of having a couple of chats with Rick and he told me how much he enjoyed using this site and communicating with so many people around the world. A very sad loss, and my thoughts go out to his family and friends.
We have a tradition over here in he UK,
i'm sure most of you will have seen
something on the TV when they report news from the UK on US TV stations.
When someone passes on, even though its a time of great sadness, everyone, instead of holding their heads down, will clap and cheer, a celebration of the person and their life. A time to remember all the really good things they achieved, a time to applaud them.
And whatever our personal belief's maybe
about the "outherside", if we all clap and cheer for them, to say thanks for what they've left us, then maybe they'll hear us in celebration.
I enjoyed my online chats with Rick, they were fun, humorous and unlike most on here, very intelligent.
Gonna miss him....
