"No Reason To Live But We Like It" Says the members of the Philadelphia based "pop-rock" band The Bloodhound Gang, but success was not easy for this five piece of musicians who consider themselves to write 5th grade lyrics. It all started in Philadelphia Pa in the early 90s when Jimmy Pop Ali along side partner Daddy Long Legs (now in the hardcore rap-metal band Wolf Pac) both sang and produced their 1995 major label debut album "Use Your Fingers" on Columbia records. This record was failure in the eyes of Columbia records. After the failure of this record ,Daddy Long Legs , along with band mates M.S.G., and Skip O' Pot2mus left the bloodhound gang to peruse other projects . But Jimmy Pop and Lupus stayed with the bloodhound gang and hired new members, D.J. Q-ball on turntables, Evil Jarad on bass, and Spanky - G on drums made the line up complete to start work on their next record 1996's "One Fierce Beer Coaster" on Geffen/Republic records. Success!!! This album went platinum dew to the hit single "Fire, Water, Burn" which had heavy rotation an radio and Mtv . After touring for 2 years in support of the record they quickly began work on their next album 2000's Hooray for Boobies which took years to complete but paid off in the end , going multi platinum in weeks dew to the first single "The Bad Touch" which also had heavy rotation on radio and Mtv. But drummer Spanky-G decided to quit the band shortly after the completion of this record dew to him wanting to finish high school and the fact that his girlfriend was giving all his friends blow jobs while he was on tour so they got Willie "The New Guy" to replace him. The Bloodhound Gang are currently in the studio working on their newest album "Heavy Flow". Lead singer Jimmy Pop spent some time in Europe writing lyrics for the follow up of 2000's Hooray for Boobies. Singer Jimmy Pop also started his own record label , Jimmy Franks Recording Comany and got the Fitish band HER (H.I.M.) signed to a U.S. record label.
