bobby valentino is the hottest, freshest new talent. he hit our screens and radios with his debut single \'slow down\' off of his self titled album \'bobby valentino\'.
bobby valentino (or nicknamed bobby v) was born bobby wilson (he is nicknamed bobby valentino as he was due to be born on valentines day) on february 27th in 1982 in jackson, mississipi. he was raised in atlanta, goergia and currently lives in los angeles, california. ever since he was a little boy, bobby wanted to be a singer-much to his parents disaproval as they did not think that the music industry was a stable career for their young son. nevertheless, bobby entered the music buisness in 1996 with the boys ii men styled group \'mista\'. they had one smash hit \'black berry molasses\'. unfortunately for bobby the group soon split and they went their seperate ways.
bobby decided to leave the music industry for a while and concentrate on his education. he enrolled in clark-atlanta university where he majored in mass communication, graduating in 2003 with a bachelor of arts degree. bobby finally decided to return to music. he began writing and making demo albums and set off to various record companys to hopefully get a contract. the first to hear of his talents was poon daddy who then told ludacrics of his findings. bobby was signed to def soul music imprint and became a member of ludacris\' \'disturbing tha peace\' group.
bobby has just recently released his solo debut album all tracks written by the man himself and featuring close friend ludacris on such tracks as \'give me a chance\'. it was his first released single \'slow down\' that recieved major television and radio airplay, making him the household name that he is today. he is sure to be a huge success and future legend. |
