The name 'Boy Radge' is synonymous with beautiful music & quality arrangements having been in the local music industry for quite some time.Hailing from Penang with 18 years of experience in performing and arranging music along with 9 years experience of being a recording engineer has indeed set Boy Radge apart from the rest.He received his formal education in playing the Organ at a tender age and moved on to performing live in public at the age of 13 with his band at various functions.Due to the enormous talent displayed by him and his band they were hailed as the top Indian band in Penang.Upon completing his secondary education he further pursued his interest in music and took up Sound Engineering,studying at the Fame School of Music Engineering and Recording Studio,it was not long before his talent was recognized and he was soon hired as a music arranger by Fame's management. He soon climbed it's ladder and became the Chief Recording Engineer there.During this period,he received much attention and appreciation overseas.His Gospel album
production for KB Chan topped the charts at no 1. In the year 2004, he earned an award for best music arrangement in a Chinese Worldwide Music competition held in Taiwan. Before that, in the year 2002, he had already won an award in the Pesta Pulau Pinang for best perfomance in music.
He decided to spread his wings in Kuala Lumpur after the studio he worked for ceased it's operations.Not long after that, he opened his own studio in PJ,naming it Fame Music Studio to commemorate his former work place.Another award soon followed in 2005 as his music arrangement had been awarded the Anugerah Seri Angkasa for best radio station ID,this made history as it marked the first time in which an Indian radio station had bagged the prestigious award.He is now a very busy musician, engineer and producer. Being one of the most sought after Music Directors in the country,he works in the comfort of his own studio which he co-owns with his wife.This versatile musician is often occupied with working on local albums, movie soundtracks, corporate video music, jingles and documentaries for tv. His naturall ability to work on Chinese,Indian,Malay & English projects with ease has made him stand out amongst other local musicians.Boasting a clientele of big names that include the Malaysian government, RTM, Astro, Renesas, UMW, Porsche, Lotus, Hitachi, Mar Vista, Citibank and many more.His music arrangements can be heard on local TV programmes such as Eco-tourism Documentaries,Music Junction and 360 degrees,on radio one can be greeted by his signature ID on Traxx fm and Minnal fm daily.He has received rave reviews and accolades for his work in local Indian movie soundtracks for 'Manjari' and 'Naana Neeya'. The songs of the recently released Naana Neeya soundtrack album has been receiving a massive airplay on THR Raaga. Three out of the six songs are being on the top ten chart.
