What do you get when you cross a twenty year old Brazilian from Tampa, FL with amazing rap skills in both English and Portuguese, movie star good looks, a killer physique and long perfectly manicured dreds with a super hot producer and “Phresh 2 Def” manager? The answer is obvious-the next superstar phenom in urban contemporary music!
Edward Souza p/k/a BOY WONDER a/k/a B DUB is the kind of artist that comes along once in a lifetime. He is a thoroughbred by blood; his father and all of his uncles played professional league soccer oversees and one of his uncles even played for the 1958 World Cup Champion Brazilian national soccer team led by THE icon of soccer, Pele, and he was one of the top 10 players in the State of Florida by the time he was just 15 years of age. He gave up soccer to pursue his dreams of becoming a rap star, and his style and natural ability brought him to the attention of Acafool, one of the top producers/rappers in the Tampa Bay area. Acafool took him under his wing creatively, taught him the business ropes and set about crafting the Boy Wonder sound.
Then, as if the Gods themselves ordained it, B Dub hooked up with Phresh 2 Def Management, helmed by Richard “Freshie” Bryant, one of the preeminent music industry tastemakers and promoters in central Florida. With Acafool’s production and Phresh 2 Def’s guidance, the legend of B Dub began to take shape; from the Prada shoes and Italian thread sweaters to the Ed Hardy wife beaters and True Religion jeans, B Dub became known all across central Florida as much for his skill on the mike as for his trendy fashion sense, and is also renown for ever-present bevy of hot young chicks who serve as his personal promotions team he affectionately and appropriately calls “The Wonder Girls”. How fly, rather- fresh is that?
Having already been approached by Tommy Hilfiger to be featured in his Spring 2007 campaign, and with Acafool behind his beats and Phresh 2 Def guiding his career, its just a matter of time before the world knows what Batman always knew; no one does the damn thing like Boy Wonder!!!!
