| Brad Clark is able to put into words emotions most merely grapple with, if they even are recognized. A Singer/Songwriter who brings heart and energy to his songs and performances, Brad delivers vocal performances that never fail to reach even the most dispassionate or unwary listener. The son-of-a-preacherman and part of a family that includes members of the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame, Brad's roots run deep. His musical influences, a culmination of rock, blues, country, gospel and R&B, are palpable in his unique brand of soulful rock, and his straight-forward and unabashedly honest lyrics help make this the kind of music that speaks to the core of human emotion. Among his most important influences Brad lists Elvis Presley, BB King, Led Zepplin, Johnny Cash, The Band, Hank Williams, Guns n' Roses, Ray Charles, Alice In Chains, James Burton, his grandfather John R. Hoffman (who wrote the song Rose In My Garden), Ray Ruff, legendary country music producer. Brad's fan-base is extensive, as fervor has spread in both local and national communities. To date he has performed to packed houses at a variety of venues, including The Hard Rock Cafe, Los Angeles; The House of Blues in Hollywood and Las Vegas; The Great American Music Hall; The Viper Room; The Whiskey; "... and probably your grandpappy's living room!" he laughs "I've played everywhere man!" Professionally, Brad has run the gamut from rock, country, R&B, classical/operatic to gospel. With three albums under his belt (with the band, Doubledown: Things Change (2002); two solo efforts, Mr. Hudson's Requests (2003) and 25:17: A Hard Fall Will Reign (2003)), Brad has recently been working on collaborative projects with artists like the multi-talented singer/songwriter, Tru, whose album "I'm Not Through Dreaming" has been and continues to be well received around the world, has worked with the likes of Peter Gabriel, George Benson, Joan Baez, Janis Ian, and Cassandra Wilson.
