Rockin The Blues On Two Wheels News
June Edition
Greetings Music Fans:
Welcome to the summer of '09 and all the good times and outdoor concerts associated with this great time of year.
I recently spent time with friends that I went to school with, and what fun it was to visit and see each other! The time we spent together in school seems to stay with you your whole life. Special thanks to my classmates for your support at my recent shows at the Black Oak Casino in Tuolumne and The Broadway Lounge in Redwood City.
Looking ahead to upcoming shows, the band will be in Southern California this weekend for Skip Fordyce's Harley Davidson Bike Night this Friday, June 19th at 6 PM in Riverside. On Saturday, June 20th, the band will be in concert at the Shoreline Village in Long Beach. Both are super events. Hope you can be at one of the shows if you're in Southern California.
July 4th, America's birthday celebration, will be here soon and I am excited to be in concert at the Eperson Center in Twain Harte. This beautiful location in the Sierra Pines will be a highlight concert of the 2009 outdoor shows. If you are anywhere in the Sonora area, please join us for this terrific holiday party.
July also will bring our fourth appearance at the Gilroy20Garlic Festival, on Friday, July 24. It's an event that's fun and tasty, too! For another amazing outdoor concert, come join us Saturday, July 25 in Huntington Beach at the Hyatt on their Plaza Courtyard. It's right on the Pacific Ocean with an outstanding selection of food and drink. Later in July, closer to my home, we play in Lemoore, on Friday, July 31st, as part of Lemoore's Summer Concert Series.
Central California club dates for July are the Blue Heron in Coarsegold on July 5th, Vinny's Place in Chowchilla on July 11th and Hero's in Fresno on July 17 & 18.
I'm very excited about how well the new “Power Blues Guitar” T-shirt has been received. Thanks for buying one for the summer weather!
For all the music fans outside of California and around the world: Thank You for your long distance support. I look forward to touring even more incredible places in the future.
Hope to see and meet you at the show!
