Rockin The Blues On Two Wheels News
October Edition
GREETINGS MUSIC FANS
Rockin' October and Happy Halloween! As 2009 moves towards the last quarter of the year, I look back on the biggest year for me yet! More festivals, shows and exciting events than any other year, but I have a lot of work ahead in 2010. I am writing and working on a new CD and adding songs to the show. Recently there have been some huge developments. Here are a few:
- # 1 on The Electric Blues Radio Show playlist for September! Listeners voted my recording of “I Can't Quit You Babe” number one! The song is from my CD, Power Blues Guitar. Electric Blues Radio features Blues DJ, Herm, and I'm thrilled to have the listener's favorite #1 song for the whole month of September! Very exciting!
- I am one of the first artists to be part of the launch of the amazing new technology of Jogglebug.com! This advanced player allows me to record my voice or music as instant messages to be played on my website & jogglebug.com. Hear the latest voice messages from the road! Terrific new communication, like a souped-up twitter. Check it out at www.bradwilsonlive.com and www.jogglebug.com
- We are honored to once again support the Daniel Pearl World Music Days! A positive organization working for peace and better understanding around the world. Check their site out at www.danielpearlmusicdays.org.
- The band will performing a charity concert pre-party for the Harley Davidson Toy Run on Saturday, October 17th in Visalia at Howie and Sons.
- We are performing at the famous Bluesapalooza Festival in Southern California this Saturday, October 10. We are headlining the show on the main stage called Thunderfest. Rockin' the Blues and Rippin' Guitar, we play a two-hour concert at 5 PM in downtown Covina.
- October includes shows at two wonderful casinos, starting this weekend. We'll be at Eagle Mountain Casino in Porterville for two nights: October 9 & 11 at the Summit Room stage. Always a fun visit to this really nice casino. One of the biggest, most enjoyable casinos is Table Mountain Casino near Fresno, and we perform there on October 24th for two shows: 6 PM & 9 PM.
- I have a couple of favorite clubs to play in October:
First, we will be at Vinny's Place located in Chowchilla on Friday, October 23rd. This is a brand new room and location for Vinny!
Then, this Halloween, October 31, we join the fun and a huge costume party by rockin' the house at Crown Billiards in San Ramon - the Bay Area's best Halloween bash!
- I often get asked about how to get songs played in the show. Almost everything we play is recorded. Visit iTunes.com or the store page at www.bradwilsonlive.com for a list of where to download or buy any of the music I play at the shows.
The weather is cool and crisp, football is back, basketball soon, and we are all moving ahead with a new season. Hope you'll join the band and myself for some Rockin' the Blues good times around California. We're bound to be playing somewhere near you!
See you further on up the road…..BW
