I'm a performer and recording artist. Originally from Jersey, Channel Isles, I was 13 when I was in my first band. I went on to win a talent competition for a summer season which led to my being presented with a Variety Club Best Newcomer Award. Had a solo deal with Mercury Records (Universal) & amid the rubble of various deals, one of my titles was re-worked with the help of Roxanne Shante (Sharp As A Knife) - now a club classic. Another club classic was the gospel house track called 'Hope' (Grouville) produced by Tom Fredrickse, which took off in the US. I perform at corporate and private events and sing at various charity functions in association with retailers and other brands. I'm also working on an album of ballads. My forte is contemporary, easy-listening music - mainly pop and the classics, some R&B and though I do some swing, my strengths lie firmly in ballads. I live to sing and perform, and connect through what I do. |
