Aw this board is so lonely
So Bright eyes eh? Everyone go see them live,
trust me theyre awesome. I saw them play with
Modest mouse, it was great.

really? thats awesome. i've never heard
them play live sadly enough..how can they do
it with all those different instruments they
use?u know what i'm talkin bout? im sure
they kicked butt though.
dam i gotta get their new cd.

I went to their Tampa show on Friday. My best
friend has been a fan since before
"Letting Off the Happiness" and
convinced me to go. Connor had amazing energy
and sounded excellent, and audience
interaction was also good. He sang and ranted
a lot about the Bush brothers who were also
in town. Quite amusing. Some of the other
members were not so energetic, but he sort of
made up for it. I cannot help but feel they
have sold out though. But whatever. Oh my
goodness, has anyone heard the CD Connor
Orbest made when he was 13...funny stuff.
Somehow I feel he spends a lot of time in the
bathroom?
I never realized how incredibly small he is.
I *accidently* wandered backstage, and since
it was a small venue it was okay. I got to
talk to Connor, the bassist, and an odd
roadie, god hes soo small. I'm about

hey, did ne one see them perform on Late Late
with Craig Ferguson? It was awesome.. that
was the first i had heard of them. I have GOT
to get their CD... connor looks just like a
guy from my school. it was cool when the
trumpet player smashed the trumpet. Connor
seemed a little shy or akward when Craig
interviewed him, but all together it was

well, i would agree if i didn't feel that
he was honestly WORTHY of the praise. i think
that there is a lot of hype around him (due
to his hotness and outsanding talent), but i
don't think he's OVERrated. and i DID
end up seeing them live with the faint (a
band that i would suggest to anyone who likes
interpol or electronica..AMAZINNG live) at
the riv. conor was pretty drunk, but
that's how he is at all his shows. it was
entertaining. based on other shows i'd
been to before bright eyes, i felt that their
set was really long (about an hour and a
forty-five minutes...straight.) | marain07 |
Hey Wombat, yes I like Bright Eyes. Not so
much their new CDs, but that would be typical
of me wouldn't it. Usually this kind of
stuff bothers me, but my boyfriend and
bestfriend got me hooked over an extended
period of time. And they're close enough
to Arcade Fire and Neutral Milk hotel and
such, well what can I say, I've become a
sucker for indie. Most Bright Eyes fans piss

Yeah marain07 I've been to 5 bright eyes
concerts and I've never seen the kid
