| Broken Bones are the ex-Discharge speed-metal punk band, who influenced Metallica and an army of others. This is a rare live official bootleg, recorded at their ‘Dem Bones’ era zenith. Includes three exclusive unreleased songs: Police Brutality; Sick And Bored & Mellow Out.
Broken Bones formed in 1983 from the ashes of leading hard-core band, Discharge. The Discharge twin brothers of Bones (guitar) and Tezz (bass) were joined by Baz (drums) and Nobby (vocals). From the Stoke-On-Trent ‘Potteries’ area, they first produced two singles, Decapitated and Crucifix, and later Seeing Thru My Eyes, all fast and furious anthems and indie chart Top 10 entries. The album ‘Dem Bones’ was originally released in 1984, produced by Clay Records’ Mike Stone who had also produced Discharge. Along the way, band membership changed, but always featuring the distinctive guitar of Bones. Tezz went to the USA, where he played with UK Subs, Ministry, and others |
