Buck-O-Nine is a ska-punk band from San Diego, California. They gained small attention until ska started to go on the mainstream thanks to bands like No Doubt, rancid, and the Mighty Mighty Bosstones. Buck-O-Nine constists of vocalist - Jon Pebsworth, guitarist - Jonas Kleiner, bassist - Scott Kennerly, drummer - Steve Baurer, trumpet player - Tony Currey, trombone player - Don Albert, and saxophone player - Craig Yarnold. In 1994, they released their bubut album, Songs in the Key of Bree on Taang Records. In 1995, they released Barfly which helped their popularity grow. In 1996 they released their Water in My Head EP before switching to TVT records. They began to work on their next ablum, 28 Teeth. It was released in 1997. It was produced by Neill King (who also produced The Buzzcocks and Elvis Costello) and David Kershenbaum (who has also produced Joan Beez and Joe Jackson.) It was clear that this album war mmore reggae/ska than ska-punk. A year later Libido was released. Hellos & Goodbyes came in 2000.
