The Burning Sage Band has been around since the eighties. Rick and I have been playing together, as pros, since the late sixties - Yeah, no we don't have to use a cane to get on stage ;-) We play an eclectic mix of country-rock, rock, R&B and blus. The songs on the site are of two main incarnations. The 90's stuff had a Pop flavor the 2nd in 2000 something was a bit more rock edged - with a horn section (Our favorites). I write the songs and threw in some solo stuff from me.

Monday, October 19th, 2009 Well, we are still at it. the new project is taking a lot more time than we thought. It's okay though - we have been taking this project very seriously. All the siongs you hear here are just a flock-o-singles we recorded over the years. We ahve created CD's from them and gave them out as promo pieces and such. This will be our first Indie release. Soooo - we have been careful about the continuity of the songs and how they work as a whole.n We also are thrilled to have Corey Wilkins joining us on key boards, guitars and vocals Goggle the guy on Myspace - this young guy can rock. Its an honor for us old guys to have him join us. Billy will be back on sax and my son and friends - the horn section- will as well. Just a note: Eric's not old but he is prety serious. ;) When we get it done we will let everyone know - loudly!!! Ken/the old man
