Confusion? Who does the Buzzcocks have in common with The Last Resort? Some girl was walking near me down the street, and then she saw my patch (Buzzcocks). She's all, "Oh my god! Buzzcocks so copied The Last Resort"! I was like, "Your an idiot, Buzzcocks have nothing in common with The Last Resort!" She's like, "Yeah, they try so hard. Your a little stupid bitch"! I was like, "Fucken little cunt". Then she pushed me, and we started fighting...that was so weird. The lamest reason to fight. I'm confused, was she mad because I disagreed with her, or what she mad because I called her a little fucken cunt? Technically, she is a little cunt. She like, goes whoring around with every guy she meets. I hate her, and I literally kicked her ass.

I've never even heard of "the last resort".
I don't think the 'cocks copied anyone. | lobotomyactivist-II |
last resort's first album came out in 1982. by that point, the buzzcocks had a singles album. so basically, this girl was a moron. she probably just wanted to throw out the name of some obscure, crappy punk band, and at the same time try to berate your patch. sassy points for booting her ass. | zelig77 |
Oh my god yes! See, I told her she was wrong. At least someone else here understands the concept and the (basic) music of punk. | ILoveSidVicious |
yeah, i went through phase where old punk music was all i ever listened to. i still listen to the early new york stuff out of CBGBs like ramones, talking heads, blondie, television, new york dolls, etc. that's what held up best over the years for me personally. as far as the british stuff goes, i still listen to the buzzcocks, gang of four, joy division, and wire. my favorite bands of today are all pretty much influenced by those older bands as well. | zelig77 |
Personally, I'm not concerned about new bands that are out there, but there are some I like. Take The Strokes for example. Then there's The Casualties, The Virus, Anti-Flag, Thretning Verse, The Moral Decay, The Unseen, A Global Threat stuff like that. Though, I love the old british punk scene and music. | ILoveSidVicious |

i think the strokes are slightly overrated, but they are still better than 80% of the crappy bands out there these days.... | zelig77 |
Overrated? Alright...though, they are way better than any other new craptacular band there is, so whatever! | ILoveSidVicious |
| yeah...that's what i just said... | zelig77 |
