The recent lineup of Capital Eye features blazing, harmonic melodies of two versatile lead guitarists, driving and crafty drum beats, punchy and creative basslines, completed by captivating and powerful vocals. Influenced by punk rock, 90's rock, melodic and thrash metal, ska, 80's pop/rock, classical, and traces of jazz and blues, Capital Eye's sound is as broad as their influences listed; never conforming to one genre and possibly forging a new one on its own. One thing is for certain, it's an all out rock assault! Capital Eye has played at many Chicago venues including The Mutiny, Silvie's Lounge, The Note, the Hard Rock Cafe, Champs Rock Room, and the Congress Theater.
With a 2004 EP release, 2005 Vans Warped Tour Competition contestants, a Riotfest 2005 appearance, an impressive and growing list of shows, two unreleased tracks being finalized, and a much awaited full length in the works, Capital Eye is steamrolling it's way onto the conscious eye of the Chicago music scene... |
