Born in Madison, WI, Capone had quickly learned never to call any one place home. Both of his parents constantly moved because of the call of the US military. This struggle afforded him the opportunity to pickup different musical styles from across the globe.
Learning to find his musical style, Capone experimented with an array of musical styles. In the mid to late 90’s he was the front man for rock bands Cross Culture and Death Machine. When he moved to Florida in 1998 he formed a Christian rap group called Militant Souljas and recorded his first demo album. In 2000, he was accepted to Tulane University on a sports scholarship. Using his spare time he began producing and writing music for New Orleans artists Reignmaker and Homegrown. This experience granted him the opportunity to pursue his own solo career.
He has opened for several underground hip-hop acts, such as 9th Ward Webbie and Gold selling rap group 54th Platoon. |
