This is the point where I use all of my impressively persuasive words to entice you onto my website to buy my products, right?
Wrong. I don't particularly mind if you part with money or not, all I want is for you to listen to my records, even if its just once. Of course, if you were to buy one I'd be grateful not because I make a profit from it (I don't) but because I know that you actaully want to listen again. Which is why you can listen to the whole of my latest album, absolutely free as many times as you like, on my Myspace page.
For your reference, here are some nice things people have said about my latest record.
"slices of genius... Polaroid’s vocals brittle as Conor [Oberst]’s, the music as thrashy as early EP days of Stephen [Malkmus]" (www.theplasticashtray.co.uk)
"beautifully, artlessly and wonderfully fucked up with fuzz, wit, violence, youthful indulgence, incompetence and all of the glorious innocence of unaffected creation" (www.unpeeled.co.uk)
"only yesterday I was wondering where all the great lo-fi albums went. Captain Polaroid heard my thoughts and travelled through time to come to the rescue" (www.chartattack.com) |
