Im Casso Prince, born in the Frasyer Bay Area of Memphis Tn, raised and breed in the Millington and Raleigh-Frasyer part of the city. I have been doing music for the past three years and just really started taking things serious. Im working with alot of independent artists in various generes that have the same love and pride for their music. With artists Thomas Spurlock, McVay, Merciless, Rippa, Los aka blackhavenboi, J Dolla and executive producer I.D we are looking to do some major things in the years to come. Believe that
Why did you choose this name?
I was recording a song one day and DJ Big Pat kept calling me picasso prince over and over. People said that if fit me and started calling me Casso so i just ran with it.
What are some exciting things that have happened since you have started doing music?
The first time i heard someone else listening to one of my songs in their car was crazy. And hearing my songs in the club or know that they are being played at a club. One down side is people asking when am I going to do an album
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It gives artist a larger stage to promote and make a few dollars on the side.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Insomnia Hustle Records... major enough for me
